Recipes

Do try wherever possible to use freshly bought or picked fruit and whatever you do Make sure your equipment and utensils are clean and sterilised.
Some of the ingredients in the recipes such as yeast's can be obtained from Home Brew shops but unfortunately these are rare nowadays so use the Internet or look in some of the larger chemists or pharmacy's.
I have been told it is possible to use baking yeast but it must be fresh and I do not honestly recommend it.
In the earlier version of this web site I suggested, in some recipes, the use of a food processor but I no longer consider this to be a good idea and would suggest that where necessary you pulp the fruit by hand or crush with a spoon or masher thus avoiding crushing the seeds into the pulp.
